Our biosafety team deliver a range of tests to ensure that biopharmaceuticals, and the cell lines used to make them, are free from contaminating adventitious agents e.g. bacteria or viruses.

Our Quality Assurance department confirm that our work complies with regulatory guidelines.

What sort of companies and institutions do you work with?

We work with a range of different organisations focused on the development of products for animal health or aquaculture or the manufacture of human biopharmaceuticals e.g. vaccines.

Our clients include large and small pharmaceutical companies, biotechs and academic institutions.

What are the benefits of being based in Pentlands Science Park?

Tenant companies based at Pentlands Science Park are all involved in R&D in the life sciences sector which provides opportunities for scientific collaboration. We also collaborate with organisations across the Midlothian Science Zone, such as SRUC and the Roslin Institute.

We benefit from the excellent support and facilities such as waste disposal, IT and the Park Café. The landscaped surroundings of the park are beautiful and are much appreciated by our staff and visitors.
