Careers Hive highlights the opportunities available to those who study STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths), as well as the cross-disciplinary skills and subjects that can support and enhance STEM careers.
In 2021, this event will be hosted in a new format that keeps all the value and energy of the original event but will enable even wider access.
Careers Hive receives a large volume of interest every year from schools across the country. As it is a guided and immersive experience, capacity is limited during the week.
In addition, a number of Edinburgh Science funders have specific criteria attached to their support, often around tackling inclusion and promoting access across a range of geographic areas and socio-economic groups. For this reason Edinburgh Science work closely with a number of local authorities and schools that are targeted by some of these partners which can mean a delay in confirming spaces.
