Biotangents to present at Animal Health Innovation Summit Showcase

Biotangents is a finalist in the Production Animal & Animal Agri-Tech category which will highlight the development of the company's industry-changing mastitis on-farm/in-clinic diagnostic device for which they are currently seeking a strategic corporate partner.

Director of Commercialisation, Rachel Mallet, will present Biotangent's proprietary solution, which will differentiate between key mastitis pathogens, within three hours, enabling targeted and responsible use of antimicrobials.

Animal Health Innovation Europe (AHI) is the sector’s premier investment forum in Europe, showcasing the most exciting innovators in animal health and nutrition and connecting those businesses with financial investors and strategic corporate partners.

The Innovation Showcase is a globally recognised opportunity for emerging companies to present in front of the industry’s most influential figures and investors.

The Selection Committee, including Bruce Taillon (Senior Director, External Innovation at Elanco), Maarten Goossens (Co-Founder & Principal at Anterra Capital) and Spencer Swayze (Managing Director at Paine Schwartz Partners, LLC), have hand-picked 20 start-ups to take to the virtual main stage to introduce themselves, their innovations and their achievements.

This year, the 20 presenting companies will be split into two distinguishable sections:

• 10 start-ups will present their innovations in the companion animal & pet care space.
• 10 start-ups will present their innovations in the production animal & animal agri-tech space.

Winners will also be announced at Animal Health Innovation Europe, taking place online 22nd to 23 February 2021.
