Pentlands Science Park is delighted to announce that it has employed an Apprentice Engineer under the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme.
Marcel Small joined Pentlands Science Park earlier this month as part of the small engineering team responsible for the maintenance and repair of the building plant and equipment on site.
Marcel will learn from the current experienced team of engineers in what is a very complex and unique research environment and the Park sees this as an investment in the long term future of the site.
With the assistance of Best Ltd, Marcel has been employed under the Scheme and he will attend the SVQ 2 course in Mechanical Engineering Services: Heating & Ventilation at Edinburgh College.
