Health 2.0 Edinburgh Launch

Those involved in the healthcare industry in Scotland will finally have their own Scottish chapter when Health 2.0 commences operations in Edinburgh on December 3rd.

Health 2.0 Edinburgh is a non-profit local chapter of the global Health 2.0 organisation. Health 2.0, an international organisation dedicated to the creation and demonstration of new health technologies will commence operations on 3rd December 2015.

The Chapter aims to foster, cultivate and propel technology and innovations in healthcare and well-being with the intent to make it more accessible, efficient, and cost-effective for the patient as well as the carer.

Members of the organisation hold conferences, conduct market research and host developer competitions to create international solutions to some of the world’s biggest healthcare issues.

Themes shall include digital health, apps, wearable technologies, gamification, social media, big data, quantified self.

Like minded innovators and healthcare industry professionals are invited to join the group connecting doctors, nurses, NHS managers, entrepreneurs, investors, startups, developers, designers, pharma, policy makers, academia, patients and anyone interested through regular meetups and events complemented by discussions on social media: LinkedIn and Twitter @Health2Edinburg #Health2Edinburg.
