Meeting room refurbishment proves to be huge success

Published: 20 December 2017

The meeting rooms at Edinburgh Technopole have recently undergone refurbishment and are proving to be a huge success on the Midlothian science and business park.

The meeting rooms are available for booking to both internal and external organisations with full conferencing facilities and corporate catering.

Both meeting rooms seat up to 20 and can be hired for as little as an hour for team meetings, or whole days at a time.

"Recent research into well-being and the workplace suggests that access to green views, even for a short time, boosts creativity and productivity levels and reduces stress and mental fatigue."

Judith Sanderson, Park Manager, Edinburgh Technopole

The new conference rooms at Bush House, Edinburgh Technopole tick all the boxes with their views over the 126-acre parkland. Among the first to use the rooms and heap praise on the facilities was long term occupier IndigoVision with a guarantee to return in the not too distant future”.

The refurbishment of the meeting rooms is just the first phase of a larger development programme at Edinburgh Technopole.

An additional 460,000 sqft (42735 m2) build of offices, laboratories and manufacturing space in a variety of configurations will start in 2018.

The build also features a new café in ‘The Hub’ which will offer fresh, delicious and inspired food choices in a central location. There will also be plenty of seating for informal meetings in the Hub.

Based in the Midlothian Science Zone, Edinburgh Technopole is the location of choice for companies undertaking strategic, commercial and collaborative research in a variety of animal and veterinary sciences; life sciences, agri-tech and a number of other science fields.
