Midlothian Science Festival seeks local volunteers
Published: 25 March 2019
Midlothian Science Festival would like local people and community groups to volunteer to help with festival planning, event development and management and various behind the scenes roles.
All ideas are welcome. You can suggest an event for Midlothian Science Festival to be run with your group, create an event supported by the Festival team for your local community and help to ensure the events are accessible to everyone in Midlothian.
Claire Jellema, Midlothian Science Festival Manager at Roslin Innovation Centre
There are many other aspects of festival planning to get involved with. It’s completely up to you how you volunteer with Midlothian Science Festival.
This is a great opportunity to engage with the community, gain experience, meet new people, get involved in something different and to suggest activities you would like to see in your local area.
No experience is necessary and you don’t need to have a science background / any specific scientific experience or skills. More important is your enthusiasm and help will be provided with the science content.
To sign up, please download and complete this short Local Volunteer Form.
Deadline: 12 noon, Monday 13 May 2019.
