Royal Smithfield Club Bicentenary Trophy congratulations

Many congratulations to Professor Julie Fitzpatrick, Scientific Director of the Moredun Research Institute and Chief Executive of the Moredun Foundation, who was awarded the Royal Smithfield Club Bicentenary Trophy by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.

The Royal Smithfield Club presents this award to publicly recognise an individual’s significant contribution for the overall benefit of the British Livestock industry.

The award was presented by HRH The Princess Royal, Patron of the Moredun Foundation, during the royal visit hosted at Pentlands Science Park, headquarters of the world renowned Moredun Foundation and Moredun Research Institute.

The event highlighted the contribution of excellent design and innovative collaboration to produce new products, technologies and creative communication tools to help improve the health and welfare of livestock both in Scotland and across the world.
