TC BioPharm wins Life Sciences Company of the Year 2018

TC BioPharm won the "Life Science Company of the Year" last night at the Business Insider Made in Scotland Awards 2018 held in the Glasgow Science Centre.
TC BioPharm announced in February announced a tie-up with Japan's Nipro Corporation. The firm is developing drugs in the field of Gamma Delta T cell therapies, and has developed the CAR-T platform to selectively target cancer while leaving healthy cells untouched.
Set up in 2014, and celebrating the success through 2017, the award was collected by Chief Operating Officer, Mrs Angela Scott.
The Made in Scotland awards champions all aspects innovation and transformational discoveries and developments made in Scotland.
Edinburgh engineering company Vert Rotors landed the overall Made in Scotland Award as well as Innovator of the Year - while other great Scots companies capture a host of other titles.
