EPP Ltd is an independently owned GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) Contract Research Laboratory(CRO) established in 1992, supporting agrochemical, human and animal pharmaceutical sectors with bespoke facilities within the company's Environmental Centre on Bush Estate.

Edinburgh Pharmaceutical Processes (EPP Ltd) has over 30 years’ experience working over two core areas within the agrochemical, human and animal pharmaceutical sectors:

Introduction to EPP Ltd 

EPP offers an excellent level of customer service and satisfaction, combining scientific expertise with precise and effective project management and communication. Their small size means EPP is more agile and responsive to their clients’ requirements and often highly competitive on project timelines. Their experienced staff work across the core areas in a synergistic and efficient manner to achieve their business aims.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (“MHRA”) is internationally recognised as being a global regulatory policy leader. The MHRA acts as the UK GLP monitoring authority and has inspected and certified EPP as GLP compliant since 2009. This allows their clients assurance that EPP conducts GLP studies to the highest standards in the world.

EPP offers an extensive product catalogue and holds over 1,000 human and animal/veterinary pharmaceuticals: herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and plant growth regulators compounds in stock which are ready for dispatch.

EPP is based in the company's dedicated research centre, situated on a three-acre site within the prestigious and beautiful Bush Estate in Midlothian Science Zone.

Lab Space Available

EPP Ltd currently has one to three lab spaces available for rent within a secure independent building within their Environmental Centre on Bush Estate, Midlothian Science Zone.

Each lab is equipped with: 

  • Air distribution piping

  • Water supplied via Borehole (Scottish Water standard and analysed annually)

  • Photoperiodic (adjustable) system

  • 22 power outlets

  • Workstop drainage system

  • Two sinks

  • Flametame cabinet (optional)

  • Storage drawers/cupboard (optional)

  • Sanyo incubator/fridge/freezer (optional)

On site parking available and excellent public transport links.
